FIG loves Houston. So we try to do what we can to make it a better place to live and work. Each month we participate in a different volunteer opportunity and would love for you to JOIN US! Beginning June 14th, FIG will be working with the Canine Program at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), helping train dogs to search for explosive material at TSA checkpoints. There are multiple days and times available! Join us, try to get past security, and get a free FIG t-shirt. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Last month FIG rode the ferry over to Boliver Peninsula and collected trash at Crystal Beach. Beautiful day, LOTS of trash. Everyone came home a little sunburned and tired, but happy and snake bite free! Adopt-a-Beach has been keeping Texas beaches clean for 37 years and has collected over 9,803 tons of trash. Mark your calendar – their next event will take place September 23rd.
If you would like to join us and get a free t-shirt, or if you have any volunteer ideas you think we should sign up for, please let us know! Contact us at info@figtx.com
Earlier this month Axiom completed a historic private space mission. Here’s a great article with details and information on future missions.
I have seen a lot of headlines along the lines of “Fannie Mae’s Outlook is Grim For the Rest of 2023”. Here’s their forecast. Houston translation: the second half of 2023 will be a rare buyer’s market. FIG agents have already been seeing this and if you’re waiting on a sign to start the buying process this is IT!
As we mentioned, you’re one of us now. And we love to celebrate all the good news and events that are happening in the lives of the extended FIG Family! Please email info@figtx.com and let us know what’s going on with you!
