Every April, Harris County mails out property appraisal values to homeowners. Last year, FIG reached out to our former clients, offering free guidance on reviewing and protesting their appraisals – and we’re excited to do it again!

Don’t Fall For Clickbait!

Here’s What I Think Is Worth Reading:

Richmond, TX, is exploding with a new 4,500 acre community named Austin Point which will include 14,000 new homes. This continues the trend of populations shifting from Houston towards the west and south.
Also in Richmond… the Indigo Commons development is finally coming to fruition. The intrigue here is that it claims to be a walkable, car-free community with an “old school” Main Street. Check them out, the live-work properties have just hit the market.
I try to keep this positive but have you guys heard of Project Matador? Is this the cost of progress or are we on the fast track to blow this planet up?
On a positive note, Milk & Cookies is up and running in the Heights and it is glorious. We can say first hand that the sandwiches are delicious and the cookies are, well you know, the whole point. Be prepared to wait in line!
And from the Wishful Thinking Department, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport claims they are in the final phase of construction. I’ll believe it when I see it, but there is hope!
